Think: a glass of Moët on a sunlit beach, bourbon on the rocks in a vibrant gay bar, or Nirvana echoing through a fast car at midnight. She is just like that. She lives for contrast — the chaos and the calm, the fun and the form.
Anh ‘Louis’ Nguyen is a graphic designer & visual communicator based in Ho Chi Minh City.
She sees the world like a camera lens —romantic, detailed, and alive. Her work, like herself, explores diverse visual languages — ranging from clean, elegant systems to playful and expressive narratives — while consistently grounded in minimal aesthetics and emotional clarity.
Specializing in Graphic Design, UX (User Experience) / UI (User Interface) Design, and research-driven visual communication, she creates user-centered work that blends aesthetic clarity with strategic functionality. Her practice is rooted in storytelling, emotion, and intention.
During her university journey at RMIT Vietnam Saigon South, Louis collaborated with both local and international clients, with one of the most formative experiences being a creative partnership with Adidas. As part of a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) project, she and her team responded to a brief on “Comfort,” receiving professional feedback and mentorship directly from the Adidas team — an opportunity that sharpened her conceptual thinking and real-world design execution.

So, why the asterisk?
The asterisk (*) is a mark of more — a symbol that hints at what lies beyond the surface. I place it between the letters of my name to represent the layers that can’t be captured in a single word. ‘L*uis’ is not just a name, but “a space” for nuance: bold and minimal, structured and expressive.
It holds the tension between clarity and chaos — always evolving, never quite finished.
